On Saturday, we announced the shortlist for this year’s inaugural Polari Prize for Children’s and YA books. The list was revealed at a family-friendly event at The Book Nook in Hove by chair of the judges Jodie Lancet-Grant.

And here are the shortlisted books. Congratulations to all those who made the shortlist.

All three of this year’s winning books (First Book, Non-debut and Children’s / YA) will be announced on Nov 15 at The British Library.
